The Museum of the Thirties - Les Années 30

In connection with the architectural and industrial heritage of the city, the Musée des Années 30 (Museum of the Thirties) presents an important set of works comprising paintings, sculptures, drawings, a series of exemplary models of buildings and a fund of decorative art, industrial objects and posters all testimony to the aesthetic tastes of the time, supplemented by a film telling the story of this iconic city of "modern times".

Pride of place is dedicated to the sculptors - 32 workshops in Boulogne-Billancourt between 1920 and 1940 - who participated in exhibitions and created the grand decors of the inter-war years such as Paul Landowski, Alfred Janniot, Robert Wlérick, Joseph Bernard Charles Despiau, Jan and Joel Martel and so on.
