Timhotel Gare du Nord

November 2023 to June 2024

The spirit of the hotel's new decor is characteristic of northern European countries such as Scandinavia and the United Kingdom. This style is inspired by movements known as Scandinavian design or Arts and Craft.

• Simplicity: the spaces are uncluttered, with basic lines and shapes. Artwork is minimalist to maintain this light, calm atmosphere.

• Neutral colours: colour palettes are generally neutral, with shades of blue, green, beige and light wood. This creates a warm atmosphere.

• Natural materials: the use of natural materials such as wood and linen is common. These materials bring warmth and authenticity to the space.

• Functional design: furniture is chosen for its practicality and usefulness. Multi-functional pieces and modular furniture are used.

This type of decoration has gained worldwide popularity due to its timeless aesthetic, functionality and soothing ambience.    The communal areas have been completely redesigned and enlarged with a magnificent glass roof under which you can enjoy breakfast or take a break at any time of day.

Where do we stand?

The hotel reopened a few weeks ago, and has just completed all the work, including decoration! We are more ready than ever to welcome you and gather your impressions of the hotel's new design.

Timhotel Nation

January to June 2024

The renovation of the hotel is inspired by the cheerful style of the 1950s, characterised by a retro, optimistic and colourful aesthetic.   

• Bright splashes of colour are used, as well as motifs such as polka dots and geometric shapes, which were frequently used on wallpaper, upholstery and crockery at the time.
• The furniture is vintage-inspired, with clean lines and simple shapes: laminate furniture or shell chairs characteristic of the period. 
• We have chosen lighting with retro-style light fittings and wall lights in geometric patterns.

The reception and breakfast room are just as colourful, where you'll want to stop and relax in a comfortable armchair, or look at the flowers on our leafy terrace.

Timhotel Gare de l'Est

November 2023 to April 2024

This hotel, ideally located near the Canal Saint Martin and just a few minutes from the Gare de l'Est, had already renovated all its rooms. To complete its transformation, the reception areas and breakfast room have been undergoing work for a few weeks now.

A much more contemporary design, deep colours combined with light wood, a rethought layout and the ground floor façade entirely glazed to let in the light.

Our new spaces offer you a warm welcome, ideal for starting the day, taking a break on your way back from a Parisian stroll or working.
